There are some obvious omissions in the distribution charts, such as Anglesey, Isle of Wight and certainly parts of Cumbria where they are known to be, this is probably due to the lack of submitted records. Even so, the charts show very clearly how the Grey Squirrel has been displacing the Red Squirrel.

We also know that Grey Squirrels are now in more parts of Cumbria than they were in 1998.
