Patterdale Cricket Club play all their home games at King George V Playing Field, one of the most beautiful settings for any sports field in the country.
Established in 1923, friendly matches were played until joining the Eden Valley Cricket League in 1960. Currently playing in Division 2, all games are played on a week end, (mainly Saturdays), commencing at 2-00pm consisting of 40 overs per side.
This year we have entered a team in a new Cumbria Villages Cricket League and all games will be played on a Wednesday evening commencing at 6-30pm consisting of 20 overs per side. This is meant to be "FUN" cricket and batsmen have to retire when they score 39 runs and bowlers are limited to 4 overs each.

The AGM was held on Monday 21st April in the King George V Pavilion. The current officers and members of the committee were re-elected. A Captain and Vice- Captain were new appointments for the Cumbria Villages Cricket League Team.
