1 Jun 2008 - Place Fell Restoring the footpath

Work on the Place Fell footpath has started; it continues over the next few months with plans to fly stone in timed to minimise disruption to the birds on the fell.  The work is part of the Lake District National Park's work with other partners to Fix the Fells. There is also some work going on above Grisedale tarn on the descent from Dollywaggon
