If you are in the Lake District this summer come and sample a special country pursuit with a visit to the show. This is one of the few remaining genuinely traditional shows, now in its 107th year. Stay a while, relax amid the beauty of this lovely Lakeland dale and mingle with hill farmers and their families. Listen to ancient Cumbrian dialect whilst enjoying yourself at a leisurely pace for a few hours. Afterwards recollect the day with new - found contentment and a better understanding of country life.
The show has kept to the original format and content, having resisted commercialisation, and is proud to claim to be a genuinely traditional Lakeland event.
