Feb 26 2009	Concert Concert with Irish singer Curtis Magee. In aid of the village hall New Kitchen Fund.

Apr 13 2009	Duck Race This is a good spectacle, promoted annually by the local Mountain Rescue Team, in aid of their funds. Between 1,500 and 2,000 small plastic ducks, each individually numbered, are simultaneously released at 3pm in the river some distance above the bridge at Glenridding - which is the finishing line. Tickets are £1 per duck. Good prizes.

Jul 4 2009	Patterdale Parish Boundary Walk Annual sponsored walk (30 miles) around the parish boundary to raise money for the Church and School.
